AUDITION 2017 – WE SEARCH FOR THE MOST TALENTED YOUNG PIANISTS IN AUSTRIA

PRIZES

Prize for all winners: of about € 30.000,– rewarded at the gala concert “Goldene Note” 2017

age group I: one piano for one year sponsored by Steinway in Austria
age groups II, III, IV: each winner out of each group: € 5.000,– for musical development and education
extra concerts with orchestra

REQUIREMENTS PARTICIPATION

Candidates must go to school in Austria. (Pupils of Südtirol included)
No special educational status needed (Conservatory, Music Schools, Private tuition, University …)
The finalists/winners of the audition are obliged by the judges to take part at rewarding ceremony and laureate concert, otherwise the award will be revoked
For images, videos, tone recordings through the concert and audition, participants cannot claim any fee
Registration Process to Audition:
with signed registration form, please send to us a recorded self played/performed piece (the piece can be part of the audition programme), in a format (mp3) or video* via link to down load with E-Mail: office@im-foundation.com
*Since 1 Feb 2017 we have asked for sending in recording not in mp3 but video-format, which is mp4 as it simplyfies the proof of performancen. As this request appears during registration process recordings in mp3 sent in already by now will not have any disadvantages
Registration fee of € 60,- is required for audition to be transfered to IM-Foundation, IBAN: AT94 2011 1828 4865 1400, BIC: GIBAATWWXXX
After registration closeing (18 Feb 17) we will inform applicatns in a few days about wether or not taken as candidate to the audition

ALTERSGRUPPEN

Age group I: till 9th birthday (born after 5th March 2008) total audition programme duration: 4-6 minutes

Age group II: till 11th birthday (born between 5ht March 2006 and 5th March 2008) total audition programme duration: 6-8 minutes

Age group III: till 13th birthday (born between 5th March 2004 and 5th March 2006) total audition programme duration: 8-10 minutes

Age group IV: till 15th birthday (geboren zwischen 5.3.2002 und 5.3.2004) total audition programme duration: 10-12 minutes

AUDITION PROGRAMM / selecting pieces

The chosen pieces shall vary in character. The selection of different styles will be counted into valuation.

Decisions of the judges are unaissalable. Jugdes are not allowed to score own students.
